Animated spell effects, area templates, measurements, and dice — over your battlemap, on your table.
One HTML file. No install. No account. No subscription.
WHAT IT IS
MythLayer runs as a fullscreen overlay on top of a battlemap image or video — usually displayed on a TV, projector, or table-mounted screen. Your minis stay on the table. Your terrain stays physical. The DM keeps a laptop nearby with the overlay open, and a quick right-click brings up a radial menu to drop spell effects, area templates, distance measurements, scene tints, and dice rolls onto the map in real time.
Built for DMs who already have a battlemap display rig and want the visual punch of a virtual tabletop without turning the whole game into a remote-play setup.

THE TOOLKIT
Every feature reachable from the radial menu. The map stays full-screen and you stay in the moment.

HOW IT WORKS
Right-click for the menu. Pick a tool. Place it. The whole interaction model is three motions deep, every time.

WHERE IT FITS
MythLayer doesn't compete with Foundry or Roll20 — it serves DMs they don't. If your players sit at a table with miniatures and a battlemap display, this is your tool.

Foundry and Roll20 are excellent at what they do. They're just not built for the use case MythLayer is built for.
READY?
The fastest way to know if MythLayer fits your table is to launch the demo in your browser and right-click. Takes about ten seconds.
